NASHIK: Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has given the permission to repair works along with the demolition of unsafe structures in the city. It was stated earlier that builders who have the man force living at the construction site, got commencement certificates and can start the work with maximum of 5 labourers along with maintaining the social distancing and other safety measures.
This approval has been giving keeping in view the
urgent pre-monsoon works that cannot be postponed. This includes works related
to protection of building, shuttering, flood protection, propping, water
proofing and structural repairs of buildings along with demolition of unsafe
structures. Out of 389 builders who
applied for permission, only 220 have been permitted by NMC and 18 have been
rejected.
